why do "boyfriend" or "girlfriend" a lot of times sound sexier than "husband" or "wive"?
for the time being, my hypothetical answer is: because most humans love adventures. and new things. and when the titles "husband" and "wife" are given, what comes to mind is eternity. and bond. till death do you part.
